I'm missing about our trip to Barbados, now, here it is, with details for you.
We rented an apartment on Airbnb, we stayed in the capital Bridgetown, highly recommended by a couple friends of ours, the owner, is a Canadian, who has lived on the island for 20 years. Just walk in the sand. For Brazilians it is not necessary a VISA, but I already know that other nationalities are necessary.
As soon as you arrive, you are already struck by the color of the sea, it is a spectacular turquoise. God surprises us every moment with His beauty.
Brazilians do not need a visa!
But they ask for the Yellow Fever vaccine and the International Certificate of Vaccination.
(I don't know how it is now, this topic of vaccines)

I'll tell you a little bit about Barbados;
Barbados is an island in the Eastern Caribbean and is an independent nation of the British Commonwealth.
Bridgetown, the capital, is a cruise ship port with colonial buildings and the Nidhe Israel synagogue, founded in 1654. Around the island are beaches, botanical gardens, Harrison's Cave and 17th-century farmhouses such as St. . Nicholas Abbey. Among the local traditions are afternoon tea and cricket, the national sport. (Wikipedia)
The people of Barbados are very welcoming, polite. The food is wonderful.
The hotels, one more beautiful than the other,
Barbados is well known for hosting celebrities from all over the world.
It has some Shopping Centers like Limegrove Lifestyle Center, with stores like Michael Kors, Ralf Lauren, Longchamp and others, Cave Sheperd Sheraton Mall.

The souvenir shops are one more beautiful than the other!

The birds were our companions throughout the day, especially at breakfast.

There are several attractions to do, especially with children, the beaches are super quiet and not crowded, so while you sunbathe, children can enjoy the sand and the sea.
A trip we did on a rainy day was to go to a famous Rum distillery, for that we took the St. Nicholas Abbey Heritage Railway. You know the house that was built in 1658, you know the sugar plantations, the museum and the distillery.

One of the things that caught my attention the most, that the sea is so nice, that the turtles live there and are not afraid to get close to you.

Hope you like it !
XO
Luciana.
